With "Infinity Nine", the Turkish shipyard AvA Yachts is building an explorer for the French basketball player Tony Parker.

The second unit in the Kandos 110 series is clearly taking shape: The outfitting is almost complete, initial painting work on the steel hull and the aluminium superstructure has begun and the interior work is in full swing. Owner Tony Parker, who paid a visit to the halls in Antalya's free trade zone at the beginning of November, was able to see the construction progress for himself. In the 17 years that Parker played for the San Antonio Spurs, he won the NBA championship four times.

AvA Yachts' in-house design department created both the exterior and interior areas, which have a total volume of 320 gross tonnes. Five guest cabins and a 29 square metre owner's suite are spread over four decks.

Two diesels from Volvo Penta's commercial series are to accelerate "Infinity Nine" to 14 knots. The range is given as 6500 nautical miles. Tony Parker intends to take delivery of his 35-metre explorer at the end of March and also offer it on the charter market.

"Infinity Nine": The 35 metres should be able to cover 6500 nautical miles in one go and reach a maximum of 14 knots. | n."Infinity Nine": The 35 metres should be able to cover 6500 nautical miles in one go and reach a maximum of 14 knots. | n.
