The shipyard from Avenza in Tuscany built the champagne-coloured GRP yacht for an American owner, who commissioned Tommaso Spadolini with the interior design. The result was a typical American layout with a large galley and light-flooded saloon. The skylight is darkened by electronically controlled liquid crystals. Consistent lightweight construction, with all the furniture manufactured by CNN, and two MTU diesels totalling 3878 kilowatts ensure a remarkable cruising speed of 32 knots. "Francesca" can approach the shore in water up to 1.20 metres deep, below which the 4.40 metre waterjet tender from Williams has to be used.
