The masculine, sports car-inspired lines were designed by Clifford Denn, while Reymond Langton developed the interior for a volume of just under 500 gross tonnes. The layout provides for five cabins for ten people, with the owner's suite forward on the main deck and the guests' suite on the lower deck. Fitz Interieur from Mertingen was responsible for furnishing the staircase, atria, skylounge and owner's cabin. The Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) with round bilge developed by Van Oossanen promises hydrodynamic efficiency. This means that "Omaha" requires a propulsion package with 20 per cent less power than yachts of a comparable length with a square bilge. A twin propulsion system with 1000-kilowatt diesels each operates in the engine room, propelling the nine-metre-wide displacer to 16 knots. At a speed of twelve knots, the captain has a range of 3800 nautical miles. Project "Triton", the sister ship to "Omaha", is currently under construction and is due to be handed over to the owner and crew in February 2020.
