68-metre "Soaring" on test drives

At 1500 gross tonnes, the steel-aluminium format, conceived both inside and out by Bremen-based Focus Yacht Design, is in the middle of the field in terms of the use of space. The visual highlight is the observation lounge on the sun deck, which merges into an arched atrium amidships. Focus Managing Director Thomas Mühe on the collaboration with the traditional shipyard: "We are delighted with how well our concepts have been realised. The shipyard works like clockwork and the ability to harmonise the exterior appearance with the interior design enabled a holistic design approach. The yacht appears modern and timeless at the same time." Superyacht Technical Services supervised the construction of "Soaring" for the owner, while Ocean Independence is responsible for the management and acts as charter agent.
