Around a year after the 98.40 metre long five-decker "Aviva", Abeking & Rasmussen has now launched another displacer with a similar but slightly more angular hull shape, the "Elandess". The traditional Bremen shipyard collaborated with the London-based designers at Harrison Eidsgaard for the first time on the almost 25 metre shorter and one deck shallower format. Together with them, the owner designed "Elandess" as a dedicated family yacht with an underwater lounge that extends to the eight metre long and 2.50 metre wide pool on the sundeck. The 60-metre-long predecessor of "Elandess", also from A&R, was sold in 2016 for around 52 million euros. Following the completion of the outfitting phase, sea trials on the Weser and the North Sea coast are scheduled and the handover to the owner is due to take place this summer.
