The new Columbus flagship comes from the Classic line designed by Hydro Tec. Sergio Cutolo's team also carried out the naval architecture calculations. Francesco Guida worked out the interior. Five VIP suites are located on the main deck and the owner's flat is on a deck specially designed for him. The list of special features is headed by an eight-metre-long pool with counter-current system on the sundeck. A spa area is located on the upper deck and the beach club is 200 square metres in size. Two MTU gensets with a total output of 2240 kilowatts are at work in the engine room. This enables "Dragon" to reach a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a range of 6000 nautical miles at an economic speed of twelve knots. The owner will take delivery of the 80 metre yacht in the summer and release "Dragon" for this year's Monaco Yacht Show. Columbus Superyacht is one of the five brands that belong to the Palumbo Group. ISA Yachts, Mondomarine, Extra and Palumbo Superyachts are also organised in the group.
