Echo Yachts is the name of a new shipyard with halls in Henderson, Western Australia, which was founded by a family from Singapore for the construction of two spectacular yachts.
The shipyard's order book consists of an 84-metre-long and 20-metre-wide aluminium trimaran and a 46-metre GRP motor catamaran, which will be used as a supply boat. The owner family engaged Australian Sam Sorgiovanni for the sensational exterior styling and the palatial interior design of the mother ship, while the hull lines were optimised by One2Three Naval Architects. The support yacht, designed by LOMOcean from New Zealand, is already under construction and is scheduled for delivery in 2015. The support catamaran will have space for twelve tenders and a large number of toys.
