At 5000 gross tons, the very voluminous five-decker was built for an experienced British owner who had already had three yachts of the same name built and who increased the size of his new "Aviva" by over 30 metres.
The exterior and interior styling of the impressive displacer comes from the computers of Reymond Langton Design, who worked closely with Toby Silverton on the design.
The interior supposedly serves as a floating gallery - the owner attached great importance to accommodating some works from his art collection on "Aviva".
The hull lines have been optimised for hydodynamic efficiency and are designed to generate 20 percent less hull resistance than conventional lines. The maximum speed is 20 knots, while a hybrid propulsion system allows the displacer to run at eleven knots without the main engines running.
The "Aviva" is currently en route to Gibraltar, where the owner will board with his family.
