The Amels 206, which was launched on spec, was only sold to its owner in September and is a minimally stretched version of the Amels 199, which was built three times. For Tim Heywood, who designed the avant-garde 199 lines almost ten years ago, the model with the "boomerang" bow and the many portholes is his personal Limited Edition favourite. It was precisely these design features that the owner and Heywood wanted to emphasise with the light grey hull. The large portholes on the main deck conceal the owner's cabin, which was designed by Laura Sessa, as were the three double cabins one deck below and the two VIPs on the bridge deck. On the top deck, a jacuzzi and a teppanyaki grill await the owner, who, according to Amels, comes from the Asia-Pacific region.
