The traditional shipyard from Lemwerder concluded the construction contract for the yacht, which is more than 120 metres long, in the summer.

More information than the length of more than 120 metres is not available. Abeking & Rasmussen states that the maximum capacity of the production hall, which was inaugurated in 2015, is 125 metres.

Project 6507, a gigayacht, is currently under construction in Lemwerder. Delivery of the 118 metres, which Pella Sietas laid the keel for in Hamburg in summer 2019, is scheduled for next year. The exterior of the Parisian studio Joseph Dirand Architecture, which is also designing the interior, is likely to be revealed much earlier. The steel hull of Project 6507 - like that of the A&R building "Elandess" - will be adorned with large underwater windows that allow direct insights into Nemo's realm.

Special orders are nothing unusual for the shipyard, which was founded in 1907 and is currently working on three multi-purpose vessels measuring over 90 metres for the federal government. They will all have a helideck on the foredeck, LNG propulsion with methane as fuel - and will also be used to extinguish fires. Complex safety solutions are being implemented to ensure that no gas escapes on board under any circumstances.

Abeking & Rasmussen also reports that its subsidiary A&R Services has processed nine refits in 2021 and that more are soon to follow.
