Founded in 2008 and based in Torre Annunziata, around 25 kilometres south of Naples, the shipyard has increased its production area by 30 percent to 47,000 square metres and recently acquired 21 percent of the neighbouring Marina di Torre Annunziata. "The investment in the harbour facility was a natural step for us and offers us further growth opportunities in the aftersales and service sector," explains shipyard boss Ugo Pellegrino. Many Arcadia owners bring their yachts to the shipyard for winter storage and order extensive refit work in one go. "The expansion of our production area is necessary because we want to focus more on marketing and building larger Arcadia units such as the FOR.TH models." According to Pellegrino, the existing, well-filled order book and the current positive mood in the market and with regard to the Sherpa and Gamma A line models were further arguments in favour of an investment of this magnitude.
