The Italian shipyard presented a hygiene concept that makes shipyard visits and test drives possible again.

The proactive measure follows the recent resumption of production under strict conditions. The guidelines for existing and potential customers already relate to travel. Arcadia Yachts arranges private jets that are authorised to fly to Naples and provides shuttle vehicles with partitions between drivers and passengers, which are disinfected after each journey. The body temperature of visitors is measured and disposable masks are distributed if necessary. The same precautionary measures apply to helicopters. The Italian shipyard also recommends suitable hotels with halls below Mount Vesuvius. Shortly before the actual shipyard visit, all rooms and the yachts to be tested are sanitised by Arcadia employees wearing special protective clothing.

"A large part of our success is based on personal contact with our customers," says shipyard boss Ugo Pellegrino. "A shipyard tour is one of the moments that deepens the bond. In addition to practical aspects, the current process is also a way to show our visitors that we will always take care of them - even in these unusual times."

Even in difficult times: Arcadia Yachts reopened the gates of the shipyard not far from Naples to visitors.
