The 31.55 metre long GRP semi-glider is based on the FD92, but bears the model name FD102 due to the stern extension.

The Taiwanese shipyard started the "Askari" as an FD92, but it became an FD102 due to the extended bathing platform after the owner requested larger exterior surfaces during construction. In general, the Australian opted for many interior suppliers from his home country.
