Azimut, the Italian shipyard, has organised a very special kind of marketing. To mark its 50th birthday, it placed an 18-metre-long S6 in Times Square in New York for an entire month. The world-famous square at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue, which is often referred to as the centre of the world, was deliberately chosen by Azimut to underline the brand's "Design & Innovation" aspects. The installation was realised together with the Design Pavilion and the event strategists from NYCxDesign; the S6 was the largest boat ever exhibited in Times Square. In addition to a series of events in New York, Azimut's anniversary will be or has been celebrated in Dubai, Cannes, Hong Kong and Avigliana.
