The Magellano 30 Metri follows on from the Magellano 66 and 25 Metri (issue 6/20), with which Azimut heralded the renewal of the Navetta series. The core values are: long passages with high fuel efficiency, whereby the 29.63 metre hull calculated by P.L.A.N.A. can also glide. With two 1140-kilowatt MAN engines, top speeds of over 20 knots are predicted for the 135-tonner.
The clear, free-flowing lines of the seven-metre-wide GRP structure conceal cabins for ten guests and five crew members. Azimut has integrated a total of 70 square metres of glass into the exterior of the Magellano 30 Metri. Lithium batteries with a total capacity of 100 kilowatt hours should enable four hours at anchor during the day and eight emission-free hours at night. As with the 25 Metri, Milan-based interior designer Vincenzo De Cotiis provided the design specifications for the interior spaces.
