The exterior was created by the Benetti design team, who were supported in the interior design by Mexican architect Mauricio Gómez de Tuddo. Tuddo opted for numerous pieces of furniture from major Italian design houses such as Minotti, Paola Lenti, Giorgetti, Rimadesio, Poltrona Frau and Exteta. The interior and exterior merge via wide sliding glass doors and teak decking with black joints, which extends into the living areas. Twelve guests and a crew of seven sleep on the displacer, which can reach speeds of up to 14 knots and has a volume of just under 500 gross tonnes. At ten knots, it can even cross the Atlantic without refuelling. A 3D sonar on the "Bacchanal", which scans the sea 500 metres away in advance, ensures optimum safety from shoals or UFOs (Unidentified Floating Objects), such as containers that have gone overboard.
