The first construction number of the successful 50-metre series goes to a loyal Azimut-Benetti customer from the Ukraine. RWD wielded the exterior sceptre.

The 49.90 metre long and 9.20 metre wide "Iryna" carried out test runs off Livorno, during which the 460 tonner was to accelerate to its maximum speed of 15 knots. At twelve knots, it is expected to have a range of 4500 nautical miles.

A total of ten guests stay on board, including the owners with their suite on the forward main deck. Benetti's Interior Style Department teamed up with Visionnaire, a manufacturer of customised furniture from Bologna, to design the rooms. The rich palette of materials includes satin-finish frisé maple, oak, ivory-coloured leather and palladium. The shipyard's own creative team offers three basic interior design proposals: contemporary chic, modern light and classic maritime.

On "Iryna", the gym is located on the upper deck, the 6.25-metre tender is stored in the foredeck and the beach club measures 36 square metres. The owner opted for large glass doors that lead to the outdoor areas. Despite the special requests, it was possible to reduce the construction time by 30 per cent compared to Benetti's usual steel-aluminium yachts thanks to the platform concept. The English RWD studio has produced B.Now designs in lengths of 58, 66 and 72 metres, of which a 66-metre version is currently under construction. Seven further units of the B.Now 50M have been sold, which Benetti also offers as an Oasis version based on the open stern of the Oasis 40M, like all B.Now models.
