Yachting Developments is currently one of the few New Zealand yacht building addresses with a good order backlog. The shipyard with halls in Auckland recently signed an order for a 38.70 metre large format yacht designed by Michael Peters in the Sportfisher style. The semi-glider is made from carbon fibre fabrics and is due to go on a big catch in 2017. Two powerful MTU diesels, each with an output of 2340 kilowatts, work in the engine compartment. yachtingdevelopments.co.nz
