Nobiskrug, the renowned yacht builders with halls on the Kiel Canal, are always actively looking for owners. For the latest concept, Nobiskrug Managing Director Holger Kahl chose the design team of Mike Reeves and James Claydon, known for their extravagant designs, as creative partners. The Englishmen were responsible for the unusual, modern exterior and the timelessly elegant interior of the 110 metre long "Radiance" concept.
The lines of the displacer, which is very voluminous at 5250 gross tonnes, originate from the computers of the shipyard's own design office. There are suites and cabins for a maximum of twelve guests and a crew of 27 on six decks; a PYC licence for up to 18 guests is also possible. For a quick arrival and departure, the designers have provided a touch & go helipad in front of the owner's suite on the upper deck, while a 13 metre long pool with a counter-current system serves as a suitable training pool for even the most ambitious swimmers one deck below. An atrium extending over two decks welcomes guests on the main deck. nobiskrug.com
