The world's largest indoor water sports trade fair opens its doors this year from 17 to 25 January. For nine days, Düsseldorf will once again be the meeting place for boaters and other water sports enthusiasts from near and far. There will be plenty to see, from tenders and family boats to superyachts. Such a range of models is unique.
Above all, however, no other event attracts almost all of the well-known chandlers and accessory dealers in addition to the many international shipyards. Motorboats, including many world firsts, are presented in five halls (see hall plan). The Sport Fishing Centre in Hall 3 will also be celebrating a real premiere, giving the sport of fishing a newly designed world of experience this year. From specialised boats to high-tech equipment and expert advice, anglers will find everything here in one place.
As in the previous year, the trade fair will also provide a larger stage for sustainability topics. Presentations and workshops by experts are intended to raise awareness of relevant projects and initiatives. The Blue Innovation Dock in Hall 10 in turn serves as a discussion platform for political decision-makers and industry in order to minimise the industry's carbon footprint and promote innovative ideas. In addition, the "Love Your Ocean" stage in Hall 11 offers space for marine conservation initiatives. This is also where the Ocean Tribute Award of the Prince Albert II. Foundation and the German Ocean Foundation.
Hall 13 is the right place for anyone dreaming of their next cruise. It's all about water tourism, from the Baltic Sea to the Caribbean. On the "Destinations & Boat Life" stage, experts will provide daily tips for long trips and cruising grounds, share their experiences with charter companies and help with cruise planning. Those looking for even more professional exchange will find exciting presentations and inspiring stories from boating professionals in Hall 15 in the Sailing Centre.
There will also be many other presentations and workshops on a wide variety of topics. For example, in the Refit Centre in Hall 11, where issues relating to repair, maintenance and boat building will be addressed.
Beyond the world of yachts and boats, hobby divers will get their money's worth in Halls 11 and 12. And the Water Pixel World in Hall 11 gives filmmakers and photographers the opportunity to present their images and videos to a wide audience. In the Classic Forum In Hall 14, visitors can even try their hand at traditional boat building themselves. In addition to specialist presentations, the "Private Maritime Auction" will also take place here on 24 January from 11 am.
The Delius Klasing Verlag stand, where the BOOTE editorial team will also be exhibiting, can be found in Hall 10, G18. Here you will find nautical charts, calendars, magazines and lots of nautical literature. Visitors can also look forward to exciting lectures and readings.

Superyachts: The luxury models from Azimut, Bluegame, Ferretti, Pearl, Princess, Sunseeker and Grand Banks, among others, are the stuff of dreams.
Maritime art: It gets creative: artists from all over the world exhibit their works.
Motorboats: From small inflatable boats to power ribs from renowned manufacturers such as Williams Jet Tender, Zodiac, Zar and others.
Equipment and accessories: On-board electronics, navigation instruments, life-saving equipment, fuelling systems, clothing, ropes and much more.
Diving: Action under water: equipment and diving holidays.
Charter trips and paddling tours: Boat hire companies, charter agencies and holiday destinations introduce themselves. Paddling and canoeing will also be on show in Hall 14.
Sailing: Yachts and catamarans from almost all major shipyards. Bavaria and Hanse will also be back in Düsseldorf.
Trend sport: The home of surfers and other board sports enthusiasts.
