Damen Yachting was delighted on the very first day of the Monaco Yacht Show to receive an order to build the fourth Amels 60, the first limited edition model made from Espen Øino computers. The Dutch company plans to complete the 60 metre long platform concept with hybrid drive and 830 Gross Tons in two and a half years.
It took the yacht builders from Vlissingen 16 months to refit "Here Comes the Sun". Amels, a Damen Yachting brand, originally launched the Tim Heywood design in 2016, and the new owner's measures included a six-metre extension to 89 metres, new hull colour, seven-metre pool, additional balcony dock and VIP suite on the bridge deck as well as a helipad above. The first harbour stop on the "second maiden voyage" was London.
