The day cruisers from Wajer have been growing in popularity for a number of years and it is hard to imagine many marinas in the south of France or on the Balearic Islands without them. For the start of this year's season, the Dutch shipyard once again came up with a very special event and organised a Wajer convoy from the shipyard in Heeg to the InterContinental Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam. With a pleasant outside temperature of 21 degrees, 35 boats took part in the spectacle and naturally attracted a lot of attention in the canals of the metropolis. Eleven Wajers were also christened during the event and the owners and crews were given a first glimpse of the new Wajer 55 S - a lighter and faster version of the Wajer 55. Founded in 1992, the Wajer shipyard currently offers six models between 7.20 and 16 metres in length. The stylish designs are used on superyachts as tenders or chase boats.
