Compact Lürssen for Asia
Lürssen announced the conclusion of a contract for the construction of a 54-metre four-decker and is thus by no means moving into uncharted territory.
Although regarded by many as a giga shipyard, Lürssen has delivered 29 yachts under 90 metres and 15 over 90 metres in the last 15 years. For the "Moon Sand" project, Bannenberg & Rowell Design was responsible for the exterior and interior design. Dickie Bannenberg, son of "Coral Island" creator John Bannenberg, and his team realised large open spaces with a pool across the aft deck for an Asian owner's family. Pollaro customised all the furniture in the USA. Delivery of the 54-metre displacement yacht is planned for spring 2021.
