Frank Laupman and his Omega team integrated an eye-catching "bird's wing" motif into the design to visually link the main deck, bridge and sundeck without interrupting the horizontal sweep of the windows. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and lowered bulwarks ensure a panoramic view and high light incidence.
Sinot Yacht and Architecture Design worked on one of the most elaborate and sophisticated designs in the shipyard's history. "Every detail was crafted to meet the highest standards of sophistication and opulence," explains Paul Costerus of Sinot. "The Sinot ethos for a distinctive aesthetic is evident in the use of rare woods and veneers, fine fabrics, exquisite leathers and bespoke metal and glass, as well as individual pieces of furniture and lamps."
A separate routing system throughout the yacht ensures that the fifteen crew members and four other employees can go about their work seamlessly and discreetly. The service is enjoyed by twelve people, two of whom occupy the suite on the aft bridge deck. One of the special features of Project "Falcon" is a reception area on the sundeck for guests arriving by helicopter.
With two MTU diesel engines (12V4000 M65L), construction number YN19360 reaches a top speed of 17.5 knots and achieves a range of 4200 nautical miles at a speed of 13 knots. Heesen's latest 60-metre project will be shipped to Rotterdam to test the systems and will be delivered in December.
