The Taiwanese shipyard Horizon has already built several yachts for German owners. Now another one has been added with construction number 335: 33.50 metres long, 7.20 metres wide and with a custom design from Bremen. It is already the fifth Horizon yacht for this owner.

"During the design process, the ship was extended by two feet from 108 to 110 feet," explain Immo Lüdeling and Tim Ulrich from beiderbeck designs, which were based on an existing Horizon platform. The underwater lines of the hull over an overall length of 28.50 metres remained the only product standard. Above this, they created a new, customised exterior design with a gently sloping foredeck.

Before shipping, test runs will take place in January, during which the two MTU engines and all gensets will be put through their paces. After arrival in Europe, the shipyard will provide a three-man team for commissioning. Zucker + Partner from Hamburg was responsible for supervising the construction and representing the owner.
