For Mangusta owners, it is the entry-level model into the Gransport world, which, like its two big sisters, advertises itself with high speed as well as good range values and a large volume. Mancini designed an interior of 228 gross tonnes together with the owner, including his 40 square metre cabin behind the bow. Four double cabins are reserved for guests on the lower deck.
Four IPS units from Volvo Penta, each with 735 kilowatts, propel the GRP racer to a maximum of 26 knots. That is seven knots less than Mangusta's Maxi Open 110, but the GranSport 33 has a raised steering position and an enclosed flybridge, which the owner uses as a TV room and which is also available in an open version.
Next on Overmarine's launch calendar are the second build numbers of Gransport's 54-metre flagship and the 45-metre intermediate size Gransport 45.
