The Antalya-based shipyard inaugurated its new 16,000 square metre construction site and reports on five new yachts.

Alia Yachts announced that production had suffered only a minimal setback due to the pandemic and presented the 23-metre semi-glider "La Paloma" after a one-year construction phase.

The yacht builders also made considerable progress in equipping the 55 metre long Vripack design "Al Waab II".

A 36-metre supply vessel is scheduled for completion in 2021, which will stand alongside the Royal Huisman project "Phi". The 32.40 metre long sister ship to "Virgen del Mar VI" is being built without the financial backing of an owner. Negotiations are underway for a 40-metre newbuild.

Sören Gehlhaus wurde 1981 in Berlin geboren und besegelte auf Jollen die Unterhavel, in den Ferien den Ratzeburger See und die Ostsee auf „Dickschiffen“. Zeitgleich mit dem Beginn des Studiums in Lübeck trat 2001 das Kitesurfen auf den Plan, und die intensive Ausübung des neuen Sports sorgte für den beruflichen Schwenk zum Journalismus. Nach Volontariat beim b&d Verlag in Hamburg folgten viele Jahre der redaktionellen Arbeit für ein Kitesurf-Magazin und 2018 der Wechsel zu BOOTE EXCLUSIV.
