Oceanco pulled an impressive shell out of the halls at the Zwijndrecht shipyard site with the Y720 project. The 109-metre-long steel and aluminium construction will now be fitted out in Alblasserdam, Oceanco's headquarters, ten kilometres away, by 2021. It was designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and calculated by Lateral Naval Architects. The superstructure of the Y720 is to have enormous glass surfaces with floor-to-ceiling windows, but further details are not yet known. However, it is rumoured that the US director legend Steven Spielberg could be the client. He has already ordered a yacht from Oceanco, "Seven Seas", which is 85 metres long. Oceanco also has two gigantic yachts 117 and 125 metres long under construction. The latter will be the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands when it is delivered.
