The shipyard with halls in Monnickendam launched its 64 metre long flagship.
Hakvoort launched its new flagship in Monnickendam at the end of last year. The owner of the almost 64 metre long displacement yacht changed early on in the construction phase, and the new owner decided on a comprehensive restyling of the exterior and interior. He engaged the H2 Yacht Design team led by studio founder Jonny Horsfield, who gave "Scout" a striking explorer look. "The yacht had to be robust and look as if a conventional ship had been converted into an explorer," says Jonny Horsfield, describing the design brief. The hull lines come from the Diana Yacht Design computers. The crew stow the tenders on the foredeck, while a touch & go helipad is located on the top deck, as is an observation lounge.
