The name seems to say it all. With "Crazy Me", the Dutch Heesen shipyard has now launched one of the most unusual exterior designs of recent years. While the hull of the 50 metre long semi-glider still appears conventional, the superstructure has very little in common with the upper decks of comparably sized yachts - it could almost pass for a mirror image of the hull. The shipyard's press release puts it as follows: "The yacht will have a high recognition value at sea."
The owner engaged Christiano Gatto to design the interior, with Alex Banning from SuperYachtsMonaco working as the owner's representative. "Crazy Me" was equipped with two MTU diesels (16V 4000 M93L) and achieves a top speed of 21 knots.
