The launch of the 50-metre-long steel and aluminium building was the Dutch company's fifth in 2021.

Clifford Denn gave the semi-custom model - "Aura" is the third unit in the mini-series - an exterior inspired by automotive design. The interiors with five cabins for ten guests were designed by the Franco-British studio Reymond Langton. Despite pandemic-related challenges, Heesen was also on schedule with this project. CEO Arthur Brouwer comments: "2021 was a very exciting year for our shipyard, not only because of our numerous sales successes, which will keep us busy for years to come, but also because of the milestones we have achieved in the construction of our yachts."

With two MTU engines (8V4000 M63), the 50 metres can reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots. Project "Aura" will remain at the shipyard in Oss for the commissioning of the most important systems before Heesen moves her to Hellevoetsluis for intensive tests on the North Sea. Delivery is scheduled for the end of April.
