The contract for the second construction number in the 55 metre steel class was signed when "Pollux" was already in the water. A few weeks after the launch, a US owner bought the 50 metre steel "Triton". Heesen also began welding the steel plates of the 67 metre long "Sparta". After the 60-metre "SkyFall", this was the second keel laying of a custom format in 2020.
The 80-metre aluminium project "Cosmos" has reached the outfitting phase. The winch design is due to be launched in 2021 with a Sinot interior. The engine room contains four MTU gensets, each with an output of 3600 kilowatts, which will make a major contribution to the targeted top speed of 29 knots.
The Dutch shipyard currently has one steel (50 m) and two aluminium formats (50 and 55 m) on sale, all in different stages of construction and all styled by Frank Laupman.
