"Helga" is based on a 26-metre-long platform that Van der Valk developed together with Guido de Groot, both from the outside and the inside. Instead of the "Nicostasia", which was delivered in 2018, the tender is parked on the bathing platform, resulting in an increase in size of 1.30 metres. The jet ski and SUP board are stored on the aft fly.
The crew accommodation on the forward main deck was retained, with the owner and up to six guests sleeping one deck below. The best example of how "Helga" is intended to be used as a family yacht is the saloon. It resembles an oversized lounge, as the dining area has been relocated to the steering position. The 6.25 metre wide and 73 tonne displacement aluminium format is powered by two MTU gensets with a total output of 2864 kilowatts - up to 27 knots according to the specifications.
