Horizon increased production capacity
The shipyard from Taiwan invested 12.7 million euros in the conversion of existing halls. Horizon Yachts can now deliver up to 25 yachts per year.

In the industrial area of Kaohsiung, a 9917 square metre production facility that previously served as a warehouse for moulds has been transformed. Here, Horizon Yachts can work on seven yachts of up to 120 feet in length. The expansion is the result of a two-year planning process aimed at increasing production efficiency. As a result, the existing work areas were reorganised and a horizontal production chain was set up. This also meant that Atech Composites' hull production moved from a building two kilometres away to the headquarters. Everything - from the initial laying of the glass fibre mats to the final finishing - now takes place at the same location. The site of the shipyard, which was founded 34 years ago in Taiwan, is also home to a materials warehouse and office building for the company management.
