Royal Huisman is on schedule with Project 404 despite the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The fast slop has been worked on in secret for seven months; it is the first yacht from Royal Huisman's halls with a negative stem. Now the hull of the Malcolm McKeon design had to be turned outside the shipyard halls, only to dive back in shortly afterwards for the outfitting. Among other things, the Dutch shipyard will install two retractable drive units. The specifications for the interior come from Studio Liaigre in Paris, while the 75 metre high carbon fibre rig is supplied by Rondal. Royal Huisman's sister company is also laminating the carbon superstructures with which the almost 60-metre vessel is to be launched in 2022.
