The concept of a sailing yacht with a deck saloon below deck has already made experts sit up and take notice. The 24 metre long "Bliss" has now been launched and undergone its first sea trials. The 24 metre long and 5.85 metre wide composite construction impressed both its designers from beiderbeck designs in Bremen and the international team of project supervisors and suppliers.
What could initially only be glimpsed in computer animations turns out to be a real eye-catcher on the Mediterranean coast off the harbour city. The black window panes stand out against the white of the hull colour, with a deeply cut and elongated window strip amidships below the edge of the deck, giving an idea of what the interior has to offer: A clear all-round view from the saloon seating area, without a high superstructure with deck saloon destroying the sporty, flat yacht profile.
On the Hall Spars carbon fibre mast, "Bliss" carries 300 square metres of Incidences cloth, while an up to 4.40 metre deep lift keel from APM provides the righting moment. Magic trim cylinders allow the sails to be trimmed at the touch of a button.
