Dutch yacht builder Linssen Yachts has reorganised its top management. On 1 July 2025, Yvonne Linssen (45) took over the position of Managing Director of the family-owned company based in Maasbracht. She succeeds Ed Houben (59), who is now taking on the role of Operations Director within the management team. Noël Laumen (45) has been newly appointed to the management board as Commercial Director. The brother-in-law of Jac. Linssen's (45) brother-in-law was previously a member of the Supervisory Board and had been Head of Sales & Aftersales since last year. Jac. Linssen himself remains in his position as Technical Director.
Generational change and family tradition
The reorganisation of the management team marks an important step in the generational transition of the company, which was founded in 1949, according to the publication. Yvonne Linssen emphasises the importance of this transition: "In recent years, several members of our board and management team have played a key role in the continuous growth and development of our company. People with a wealth of experience such as Ed Houben, Mariëlle Timmermans (57), Chris Sniekers (55) and Miriam Joris (62) have ensured a smooth transition from the second to the third generation of Linssen."
Focus on product innovation and Linssen DNA
With the new management structure, Linssen Yachts intends to focus more on the development of innovative product concepts. Yvonne Linssen explains: "Generation 2.5, as we sometimes call it, has prepared us for the future of Linssen Yachts. Now it's time for the Linssen family to be more visible. And we are focussing strongly on the development of new product concepts that unmistakably carry the Linssen DNA."
Expanded management team
Parallel to the changes in the management team, the Linssen Yachts management team has also been expanded. Wendy Linssen (39), daughter of Peter Linssen and responsible for marketing and Linssen Boating Holidays®, has also been a member of the management team since 1 July. This expansion emphasises the company's desire to continue the family tradition and at the same time provide new impetus in key areas such as marketing.
Linssen Yachts has established itself as the market leader in the segment of luxury steel motor yachts between 9 and 16 metres in length. The company has achieved this position through high quality standards and excellent after-sales service. With the new management structure, Linssen Yachts believes it is well equipped to further expand this market position and at the same time provide innovative impetus in product development.
