The Dutch shipyard turned the aluminium hull of the 46-metre Project 405 and was awarded the construction contract for a 65-metre ketch.

The Reichel/Pugh design is now being extended in Vollenhove according to plans by Nauta Design. Royal Huisman is now adding a carbon deckhouse and hardtop to the 46 metres in line with the Featherlight design. Sister company Rondal is also using carbon fibre to manufacture the keel shaft, the E-winches and the rig. Project 405 is due to be launched in Vollenhove in 2022 - like the 59.70-metre slup with construction number 404, which is currently being fitted out - and will sail on a par with pure carbon fibre formats. Shortly before the start of the Monaco Yacht Show, the Dutch shipyard was delighted to receive an order for a 65-metre ketch with Dykstra lines and calculations and an interior by Mark Whiteley.
