One year after the keel was laid in June 2019, Nobiskrug moved the steel-aluminium hull from Kiel to Rendsburg, where the outfitting was originally due to be completed. Now, the partially caulked 62-metre vessel has moored at Lürssen in Lemwerder, where construction is continuing. The Bremen shipyard has not announced a delivery date. Project "Cap d'Ail" will have a pool on the aft main deck and a radar dome on each of the striking wings of the top deck.
Imperial Yachts, which represents the owner and continues to oversee the construction, has not provided any information on the change of shipyard. The Monegasque yachting house last worked with Lürssen on "Flying Fox" and is currently also overseeing the Nobiskrug project "Black Shark", a 77 metre long winch design.
