"Metis" with a new owner

In an off-market deal, Yacht Moments CEO Kurt Lehmann negotiated with Tommaso Chiabra from Royal Yacht International, who represented the interests of the new owner. "Metis" was built on speculation based on a design by Giorgio M. Cassetta before the German owner opted for the 63-metre steel and aluminium construction halfway through construction. The interior by Bannenberg & Rowell had already been largely worked out and was finalised together with Birgit Otte. Kurt Lehmann developed an additional gym deck, which Benetti tackled 20 months before the launch. With a nanny cabin, "Metis" was designed for family use and did not sail in charter mode.
