Moonen saved

Louise and Matthew Baxter became aware of "Aurora" in Sydney Harbour and the shipyard with Moonen's build number 84. Matthew Baxter founded the globally active AM Group, which produces roller shutters, among other things. In the next six months, Moonen plans to lay the keel for two spec builds: a third Martinique 36 metre (sister ship to "Brigadoon") and a new 44 metre flagship. The yacht builders have already rehired the majority of their employees.

The shipyard from 's-Hertogenbosch had to Insolvency after the previous backer, Mexico's largest steel group AHMSA, came under the scrutiny of the Mexican judiciary.
