The Next Yacht Group is working with Splendid Yachting with immediate effect. The Swiss company is taking over the distribution of the Maiora and AB Yachts brands in Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

A partnership with Splendid Yachting creates Next Yacht Adriatic and Next Yacht Germany. The Next Yacht Group is thus further expanding its presence in Europe. The Swiss company Splendid takes over the sales, charter and brokerage of the Maiora and AB Yachts brands in five markets: Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The expansion is in response to increasing demand in these regions and follows the recent establishment of Next Yacht Spain. Giorgio Mattei, Vice Chairman of Next Yacht Group, explains: "The Adriatic and Central European markets are important for our growth. Splendid Yachting provides the expertise, reputation and regional presence required to represent our brands."

Top partner for sales

The company, which is based in Zurich, operates a central base in the D-Marin Marina Mandalina in Sibenik, Croatia. Splendid Yachting specialises in the sale of luxury yachts, charter management and brokerage services throughout the Adriatic region.

Stefan Breck, CEO of Splendid Yachting, comments: "We are proud to represent Maiora and AB Yachts in our region. Their commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and performance aligns with our vision to deliver exceptional yachting experiences. Together we want to further strengthen the visibility of both brands in the Adriatic and Central European markets."

21 formats under construction at the Next Yacht Group

The Next Yacht Group has 67,000 square metres of production space spread across sites in Massa and Viareggio. In Viareggio, the group operates three construction sites. The headquarters in the harbour comprises seven fitting-out berths and 1,750 square metres of office space. The facility in the Via Coppino 114 serves as a meeting point for owners and offers 800 square metres of exclusive lounges.

A dedicated dock enables testing, deliveries and after-sales services. The shipyard has delivered over 380 yachts since it was founded in 2021. There are currently 21 units under construction. The workforce has grown by over 140 per cent in the past four years to more than 130 employees.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
