Ocean Independence is delighted to be working closely with Dynamiq Yachts from Monaco. The full-service broker with headquarters in Zurich and the Monegasque brand with its shipyard in Massa, Italy, recently signed a far-reaching cooperation agreement.

Ocean Independence will act as the exclusive brand ambassador for Dynamiq Yachts in the D-A-CH region, i.e. in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to the integration of Dynamiq Yachts on the Ocean Independence stands at boot Düsseldorf (19 - 27 January 2019) and the Palma Superyacht Show (27 April - 1 May 2019), joint customer events are also planned.

Peter Hürzeler, Managing Partner of Ocean Independence, comments on the cooperation as follows: "Dynamiq Yachts is an up-and-coming, young brand that we are only too happy to support with our broker network. I see great sales opportunities in the D-A-CH region in particular thanks to Dynamiq's collaboration with Studio F.A. Porsche."

Dynamiq Yachts was founded by Sergey Dobroserdov and established with the aim of introducing a new design language and the greatest possible model configuration to superyachting. The Dynamiq yachts, which have been honoured with the German Design Award and the Boat International Award, can be assembled into a completely individual model with just a few mouse clicks. Dynamiq yachts are built from aluminium in Massa, Italy, according to strict RINA standards; the portfolio consists of four models between 30 and 50 metres in length.

Dynamiq founder Sergey Dobroserdov says of the collaboration with Ocean Independence: "We are certain that we have found the right partner for the D-A-CH region in Ocean Independence. With our shared values, which include efficiency, transparency and innovation, we will be able to score points in the German-speaking market. The D-A-CH region is one of our core markets because customers here have an affinity for design, but also appreciate sophisticated technology and a good price-performance ratio. Dynamiq fulfils these criteria and clearly stands out from the competition." Finally, Dobroserdov adds: "For German customers, it is certainly not uninteresting that we work with a number of German suppliers such as MAN, Loewe, Böning, Meissen, Robbe & Berking and Studio F.A. Porsche."

Martin Hager

Editor in Chief YACHT

Martin Hager is editor-in-chief of the titles YACHT and BOOTE EXCLUSIV and has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag for 20 years. He was born in Heidelberg in 1978 and started sailing at the age of six, in an Opti of course. This was soon followed by 420s, Sprinta Sport and 470s, which he also sailed on the regatta course with his brother. His parents regularly took him on charter trips through the Greek and Balearic Islands. Even at a young age, it was clear to him that he wanted to turn his passion for water sports into a career. After graduating from high school and completing an internship at the Rathje boatbuilding company in Kiel, it was clear that he did not want to become a classic boatbuilder. Instead, he successfully studied shipbuilding and marine engineering in the Schleswig-Holstein state capital and focused on yacht design wherever he could. His diploma thesis dealt with the “Testing of a new speed prediction method for sailing yachts”. In 2004, the superyacht magazine BOOTE EXCLUSIV was looking for an editor with technical and nautical background knowledge, a position that was perfect for Martin Hager. The application was successful and a two-year traineeship was arranged. After twelve years as an editor, the editorial team changed and he took over responsibility for BOOTE EXCLUSIV as editor-in-chief in 2017. After long-time YACHT editor-in-chief Jochen Rieker moved to the role of publisher, Martin Hager also took over the position of editor-in-chief of Europe's largest sailing magazine YACHT, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, at the beginning of 2023. When he's not working on topics for the two water sports titles, Martin Hager likes to go out on the water himself - preferably with kite and wingfoil equipment or on a little after-work trip across the Alster.
