Oceanco launches "Shark" project | k"
The Dutch shipyard rolled the 90 metre long and 14.20 metre wide steel/aluminium displacement vessel out of its largest, ultra-modern hall in Alblasserdam near Rotterdam.
Oversized glass fronts in the superstructure catch the eye from the very first sight of the six-deck boat. The curvaceous exterior styling was created by Miami-based yacht designer Luiz De Basto, while Venice-based design studio Nuvolari Lenard was responsible for the interior styling. Two MTU engines with 20 cylinders and an output of 3,600 kilowatts each power Project "Shark". Sea trials on the North Sea will take place shortly. The 90-metre displacement vessel is to be handed over to the owner before the start of the Mediterranean cruising season.
