Let's start with a look at the benchmark for the next edition of Europe's leading in-water boat show, organised by12 to 17 September 2023 in the Vieux Port and Port Canto of Cannes. The height of this bar determines the balance of the 2022 Yachting Festival: 600 exhibitors, 650 boats, including 135 world premieres, 54,000 visitors. On 31 July 2023, around one and a half months before the opening of the 46th edition, the registration list already included 665 boats, including 122 world premieres and 44 European premieres. Cannes thus once again emphasises its attractiveness for premieres from numerous renowned shipyards. We give you a little foretaste - with an exemplary selection of eleven boats that have not yet been seen at any other trade fair. On the festival website you will find lists of all boats and yachts, other nautical products and maritime services as well as the complete list of exhibitors (576 companies as of 31 July). While large, luxurious yachts usually take centre stage at the Cannes Yachting Festival, in 2023 the smaller units from 8 to 12 m in length will also be allowed to set highlights. A brand new area has been created for more than 50 boats in this category, a marina in the heart of the Vieux Port. "As the DNA of the show aims to be as versatile as possible, it seemed natural to us to accommodate these small units, which are traditionally exhibited on land on the Quai Max Laubeuf, in the best possible way - in a dedicated floating area," explains Festival Director Sylvie Ernoult.

The most important Dutch water sports trade fair rose like a phoenix from the ashes in Lelystad in 2022 after two coronavirus-related cancellations and proved to be bigger than previous editions. Now the organisers around Hiswa-te-Water Director Ajen Rahusen are aiming for another record. For the next trade fair from30 August to 3 September 2023 424 boats and 215 exhibitors are registered. A significant increase compared to the 320 boats in 2022. What makes Hiswa te Water so unique is the special focus on boats from the Netherlands. Nowhere else will visitors see so many exclusive and high-quality yachts of Dutch craftsmanship in one place. Large and internationally renowned yacht yards and boat builders such as Wajer Yachts, KMY, Saffier Yachts and Linssen Yachts like to come to the Bataviahaven. Large-format tenders continue to enjoy unrivalled popularity, with a separate area at the trade fair dedicated to them.
