Royal Huisman built its largest hall for the production of the 81 metre long three-masted schooner from the computers of Mark Whiteley and Dykstra Naval Architects. Since June 2017 Huisman employees are welding the largest aluminium hull in the shipyard's history. An Asian owner couple brought the fast supersailer into the Huisman halls together with the brokers from Northrop & Johnson Asia after a year-long design phase and want to sail it around the world quickly and comfortably. The three Rondal masts have Panamax dimensions so that the schooner can navigate the Panama Canal. The next phase of construction will involve fitting out the interior to designer Mark Whiteley's specifications. The yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2020.
