Solaris launches first 80 RS | RS
The 23.98 metre long performance cruiser was launched in Aquileia in northern Italy.
For the 80 RS (Raised Saloon), Solaris worked as usual with Javier Soto Acebal. The Argentinian gave the carbon hull striking chine edges in both the stern and bow sections. The 46-tonne sloop has a fixed keel with a draught of four metres and a sail area of 325 square metres downwind. The interior, designed for eight guests, was created by the Solaris design team. Solaris is also building a 111-footer from the computers of Monaco Yacht Temptations and Javier Soto Acebal.
