Sunseeker denies using banned teak wood | er
The Poole-based shipyard is accused by the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA), a non-profit environmental organisation based in England, of violating the EU Timber Regulation.
Sunseeker has now responded with a press release and declared that it is not aware of any infringement. Furthermore, the yacht builders have not been contacted by any European authority. At Sunseeker, all direct and indirect suppliers are subject to regular audits, but the EIA's allegations will nevertheless be investigated.
