The Dutch shipyard undocked the 80.07 metre long aluminium construction "Galactica" in Oss. The ex-project "Cosmos" arrived in the North Sea by pushed convoy.

"Galactica Super Nova", an Espen Øino design delivered by Heesen in 2016, is exactly ten metres shorter, measuring 70.07 metres. For "Galactica", the owner engaged the London-based studio Winch Design, which has extended the striking superstructure even further. The grey hull accents at the level of the lower deck and the high top speed requirement have remained. The 80-metre semi-planing yacht is expected to break the 30-knot mark just like its 70.07-metre predecessor. The lightweight aluminium construction, the FDHF hull from the hydrodynamics professionals at Van Oossanen and a quartet of diesel engines from MTU, each with twenty cylinders producing 3600 kilowatts, should ensure this. There are also parallels in the interior design, which was also the responsibility of Dutch designer Sander Sinot and his team.
