The Perini plan is in place
Under the new management of The Italian Sea Group (TISG), the Italian shipyard plans to deliver three new sailing yachts by 2024.

At TISG's headquarters in Marina di Carrara, refits will continue to be carried out on the large yachts after the takeover. Three new Perini vessels are being built in Viareggio: a 47-metre sloop and a ketch of 56 and 60 metres in length. The two Perini shipyard sites are ready for operation. CEO Giovanni Costantino's plan envisages manufacturing sail formats up to 60 metres in Viareggio and everything above that in La Spezia or Marina di Carrara. The shipyard group won the bidding process after Perini Navi slipped into insolvency. The 60-metre model is due to be launched in 2023, and Costantino's design team is already involved in the 47 aluminium metres. Good news for all owners with an affinity for regattas: the Perini Navi Cup is due to take place off Porto Cervo again in 2023.
